| Good-Bye from Cafe La Fortuna! | ||

In 1976, my wife Alice and I opened this Cafe and a dream had come true. Many years have passed, and last month my beloved wife with whom I had always referred to as "The heart and soul of Cafe La Fortuna" passed away. With her a piece of me died. The fond memories of her & La Fortuna will stay with me until I join her in heaven. Times have changed ... business has slowed, rents have risen and life moves on. Unfortunately, at this time, we are closing Cafe La Fortuna. It has been a pleasure to serve this community for so long, and thank you all very much for your patronage. We wish you all the very best going forward.
